Seaton Totem Pole Project

This project is to create a Community event based around the carving and erection of a totem pole. It will involve a Scottish wood carver and two First Nation (Canadian) wood carvers assisted by local people. The event will be part of Seaton Gala week and will involve story telling, drumming, dance and other arts workshops. Seaton is a priority neighbourhood for community regeneration within Aberdeen and has a score of 2 under the Sites of Multiple Deprivation Index (SIMD).
