Secure Strawberry Hill

The Wildlife Trust BCN aims to purchase 70 Hectares of Strawberry Hill Farm in Bedfordshire to conserve the biodiversity of the site. The farm was set aside in the 1980s and and is important as an early example of rewildling. It is naturally regenerating into a mosaic of scrub, grassland and young woodland. We aim to continue with light touch management to allow natural regeneration to continue and introduce grazing to preserve areas of grassland and diversify the habitat.
