Sediment Sources, Sedimentation Risk & Siltation of Salmonid Spawning Gravels in the Lugg Catchment

The project will conduct research into sediment levels in the River Lugg and Wye catchments, in order to restore and maintain spawning gravels for the benefit of Atlantic Salmon. Funding will be used to support a part-time research student for three years, equipment for four monitoring stations and processing of collected samples.
