Sefton Borough Council: Plastic Bottle Collection Trial

Sefton BC introduced a kerbside recycling collection scheme in November 2002 to some 8,000 households. The scheme is due to be rolled out to 32,000 households in February 2003. At this stage, the BC would like to trial the collection of plastic bottles using their preferred collection method, pedestrian controlled vehicles (PVC).
