The project will improve access on the open space, restrict misuse by motorcyclists and provide equipped play areas for junior and teenage young people. Bins, seating and lighting improvements will also be included within the scheme. Additionally, the area will be tidied up, as there is litter and fly-tipping to be removed and it will seek to improve the wildlife value of the area through tree and shrub planting.
