Sensory Space

Extending our community facilities into an all-encompassing outside garden area will create intimate and sensory spaces enhancing activities and enabling new ones.
We want to create a useful, imaginative, place where people can enjoy their surroundings whilst connecting with nature, enhancing their well-being. The garden comprises different areas providing volunteers and staff with opportunities to clear and heal the minds of service users. The gently segmented design allows people to speak to each another on a one-to-one basis or larger numbers, depending on the situation. Each part of the garden that is used will give comfort, calming peace, beautiful scents and visual beauty to help visitors look for the wonder and positivity in life.
