Sephton Community Garden

The project, which was initiated by residents of the Scott Estate, Ormskirk, aims to create a community garden on piece of land that is currently underused. The project will transform the site into an enclosed garden, with seating and a variety of planting. There is no facility offering provision of this nature on the estate at present, as such it is anticipated to contribute to both the social and environmental regeneration of the area, which ranks in the top 36% most deprived Super Output Areas in England, according to the ODPM, Indices of Deprivation 2004
