Shalford Mill, Guildford: Conservation of Mill Gear

The National Trust's project seeks to restore Shalford Mill's water wheel and sluice gate in its static state; 1. To halt the deterioration of the historically significant mill gear and so secure the Mill's future. 2. To enhance visitor's experience, including further provision for people with disabilities; 3. To improve interpretation / signage to aid visitors' understanding of the history and purpose of the mill, including its unusual machinery.
