Shawell Memorial Hall, Lutterworth- Refurbishment (006546)

The Memorial Hall, originally built after WW1 and re-built in the 1980s is badly in need of upgrading. It is the only community building aside from the Church that can be used for village activities but it is currently underused as it is badly in need of improvement. The village is isolated due to having no public transport links, therefore the hall should play a vital part in connecting community groups. In the past the hall has hosted a youth club, exercise class, coffee and chatter and a toddler group as well as being a base for village meetings, social and fundraising activities.
