Shirdley Hill Village Green Drainage and Refurbishment

To drain the green and make it fit for the wider use of the community. A tarmac pedestrian walkway a safe exercise area for older people, also wheelchair and pushchair friendly. A small pond and wildlife area incorporating a bridge and a separate woodchip path through a wild wooded area. A sensory garden for less able people. Part of the plan is create a small picnic area and feature at the entrance for residents, passing cyclists and walkers. A power supply and concrete base for a Christmas Tree (money for this is being raised by the Community)
