Shire Park Bowls Club Aerator Project

Shire Park Bowls Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club whose main aim is to play and promote lawn bowls in the community. This year we need a new motorised lawn aerator in order to keep the lawn in a condition to enable us to continue to offer the facility for county and national events, as well as running our own friendly and league matches. The aerator is important as the last couple of years extreme weather conditions have affected the lawn badly and preparation has proved more difficult and time consuming for our greenkeeper and volunteer ground staff. Of our 6 rinks (lanes) the outside 2 have been problematic therefore the aerator will enable us to ensure all 6 are playable and thus increase footfall.
