Shirley Warren Action Church, Southampton – Improvements (1891/D)

The project aim is to make the building, grounds and resources available to the local community for a range of needs and purposes at low or no cost. We currently provide various groups/activities including art, healthy lifestyle (including exercise equipment), lunch club, after school club, youth club, a support group for survivors of abuse, regular car-boots and community events. We need to replace the boiler, extend the heating system and finish installing new windows. We also need to replace the rear lobby doors and wish to upgrade the building’s insulation. The Trust grant is a contribution towards the improvements.
