Shrewsbury United Reformed Church. Shropshire – Heating & Insulation (006098)

The Community Halls are an extensive range of buildings comprising; 3 Halls, 5 meeting rooms, kitchens and toilets. They are linked to the Church building but have a separate heating system and utilities supplies. This project will see a major improvement to the Heating System

The heating system was installed in 1979 and now needs a range of changes to the system including, replacement of the boiler. The 38 year old boiler is near the end of its working life and spares cannot be sourced. It will be replace by modern condensing boilers that will be 30% more efficient.
Thermostats will be installed in the 3 halls giving feedback to the boiler and switching off the heat when the Halls reach temperature.
