Shrewsbury URC, Shrewsbury – Toilets and Hall Transformation (40022/D)

The buildings are structurally sound but the halls and toilets need a range of works to improve access, environmental impact and improve the facilities. These actions include total gutting and refitting the toilets including raising the floor of the gents to the level of the hall to increase disabled accessibility. The project also includes removal of a partition wall and installation of new doors in order to link the two halls, roof insulation in Hall 1 and upgrading the outside ramp to disabled access standard.
The Trust grant will contribute towards the toilet and hall transformation.
