Sible Hedingham Recreation Ground, Halstead - Skatepark Improvements (2815/D)

The project aims to develop and enhance an existing skatepark to improve quality of ride experience and reduce noise for residents. Older existing ramps are no longer sufficient for the needs of young people who are travelling some distance to a neighbouring village to use a state of the art skatepark. The project aims to redesign the existing skatepark, moving three ramps and replacing ride surface to improve ride quality, inserting a new volcano ramp into the sequence and replacing underused grind rail and box with a new 5 foot half-pipe. The Trust grant will contribute towards the costs of the skatepark.
