Sibson Village Hall Roof Project

The need for this project has arisen due to the flat roof which is leaking. Despite numerous repairs over the years, most recently 18 months ago when the roof was fixed and the hall redecorated, the roof has started to leak again, causing internal mould, damp walls and an unpleasant odour. A survey has established that the joists and insulation are heavily saturated and that it is now necessary for the roof to be replaced. Users have expressed concerns over the state of the hall and the smell, which could impact on the future viability of keeping the hall running if not fixed. Biffa Award has been approached to fully fund the replacement flat roof, complete with new guttering, air vents, trim and fascia.
