Sicklinghall Village Hall Refurbishment Scheme

The hall was built in 1952, has been maintained well, but the toilet facilities are out of date, it has poor energy efficiency due to lack of thermal insulation, ill fitting windows and out dated heating system. We intend to insulate roof, wall and floor, new double glazing through out, improved entrance and improved and larger toilet facilities in a new extension. This will ensure that the hall becomes more sustainable, energy efficient, warm and accessible building, which will protect the hall for the community and sustain its future. Enabling us to attract a wide and diverse range of activities for the benefit of local residents, and remaining a much loved and well used facility at the heart of our community.
