Siddal Recreation Ground

People’s Consortium of Siddal was set up by local people, for local people: to address key areas of need in a deprived area (SRB6/URBAN). The recreation ground was seen as the main priority for improvement, with no safe, modern facilities for play or recreation. It is the only real greenspace for public use in a densely-populated area, physically – isolated from other communities. A community plan has been drawn up to guide the work. The park is being zoned to create a facility for use by everyone, raise quality of life in the area and provide a boost to the Siddal community
