Siddal Sports and Community Centre

The aim of the project is to address Social Exclusion by focusing on a centre of activity and the needs of the local community by developing a quality commuity facility in an area that has little or no common community provision. The community in general are deprived of easy access to basic facilities. Young people in particular have very little on offer in the area in terms of after school and evening facilities, which may be a factor in young people participating in anti-social behaviour. A local facility would enable all sections of the community in the area to benefit.
