Sight and sound learning zone

The objective of this new project is to create a place for children to spend time in and to learn about the canal whilst having fun by creating an interpretive and educational play area for children aged 3-12 at The Falkirk Wheel. Phase one of the play area will feature a range of items featuring outdoor play equipment that will allow children to release energy and channel it in a creative way. The project will enhance the visitor experience at the Falkirk Wheel and it will open up opportunities for interaction with schools. The project consists of the creation of an outdoor sensory play area for children.
