Silsden Youth Council 7 Up Activity Area

The existing play equipment for the 7-14 age is in a dilapidated state and the youth town council identified the need to improve activities within town for that age group. A consultation has taken place on proposed plans which were displayed in the Town Hall, Library, local schools and playgroups. The most popular items of equipment have been incorporated into the design of the new play area. The project aims to provide a stimulating, safe play environment encouraging physical exercise and social interaction. At the same time it will promote inclusive play by providing equipment for children with mobility and sensory disabilities.
