Skelton Grange Wild Area

The project will increase the wildlife value of a 5 acre urban site in Leeds by doing a base line survey of what species currently exist; producing a management plan and managing the urban brownfield mosaic habitat in line with Leeds City Council and Natural England Habitat Action Plan with special emphasis on other habitats and species with their own action plans. We will also use our urban location to disseminate good biodiversity practice through education sessions, demonstration projects, interpretation and using linked events such as Springwatch / Autumnwatch.
