Skelton Woods, Leeds – Pitch Improvements

The aim of the project is to install an additional main drain across the site and raise the levels of the existing pitches (4 junior size pitches) at Skelton Woods to allow water to move across the site into the main drain. These works will allow these previously well used grass pitches back into use throughout the year. The site is used for a variety of sporting activities, is the ‘home’ ground for Whinmoor Junior Football Club and is an area of public, open green space. The site at present has been closed to its users as it is saturated.
