Skirlaugh Recreation Ground - development of play facilities

The overall project will develop facilities on the playing field. It will: 1) demolish and replace the old wooden pavilion with a brick building which will be available for cricket, football & youth club activities; 2) provide a youth seating area for the NW of the field and 2 benches for general use; 3) provide an all-weather area for multi-sports; 4) provide refuse bins to minimise litter on play areas; 5) pot & fill an open drain on the nother edged of the field for H&S reasons; 6) erect CCTV near the pavilion, directed toward the playground, to deter any unsociable behaviour
