Slaidburn Village Hall

To provide an environmentally friendly village hall that is accessible to all. It is situated in Slaidburn which is in the bottom 10% in the index of multiple deprivation ‘access to services’ index. The new village hall will enable local people to access excellent community facilities, the building design is sensitive to the local beautiful environment, using local materials as befits a facility situated within a Conservation Village and will provide high levels of efficiency and insulation, using a carbon neutral heating system. The resulting facility will be low maintenance, highly efficient building to benefit all local residents.
