Slamannan Bog Restoration Project

The Slamannan Bog Restoration Project will deliver the restoration of lowland raised bog habitat in and around the Slamannan Plateau SPA. It will improve hydrological connections and remove invasive scrub in key areas across Fannyside Muir to improve ecological coherence across the area. Targeted habitat restoration improvements will be implemented by Buglife following hydrological survey and habitat connectivity mapping of peatland and associated wetland habitats across Fannyside Muir.
