Slamannan Church

Slamannan Parish Church is a B listed building, constructed in 1810 which has had little alterations made across the centuries. It’s a prominent landmark on a raised site near to the edge of the village, on the site of an earlier 17thC church and adjacent to an 11thC Norman motte. As the only spiritual centre remaining in the village of Slamannan, we hope to undertake comprehensive conservation repairs to Church building fabric, including re-slating and roof structure repairs, re-pointing of stone walls with lime mortar, window repairs and replacement and eradication of dry rot affecting timbers throughout the building. The project will also address the problematic access issues and look to improve the entry areas to enable disabled access
