Slaters Pitt

To work in partnership with Halton Children’s Centres, Norton Priory and LHT to provide quality refurbishments to Slaters Pond and surrounding area at Norton Priory in Runcorn Cheshire. This will provide safe facilities for a local young people’s fishing group to enjoy fishing the pond, learn new skills and get experience in looking after and maintaining their own water.

The project will:

• Involve Local young people in the decision making process
• Provide volunteering oppertunities for members of the fishing club
and Norton Priory volunteers
– Refurbishment work to the pond including new fishing pegs, new board walks and wildlife planting.
