Slievenacloy Habitat Management

The objectives are as follows: • Complete fencing works by 31st December 2023 to ensure grazing animals can be on site during the 2023 grazing season. • Remove all old materials from site. • Ensure all works comply with ASSI regulations and no unnecessary damage is done to the site. • Remove / reduce the height of trees around areas where ground-nesting birds occur – recycling material where possible • Remove trees terminally-affected by ash die-back, preferably to standing deadwood for invertebrates, as well as those trees that present a high risk to visitor safety, livestock and wildlife.
