SMART Board Amenity Installation at RSPB Mersehead Nature Reserve

This project aims to establish a valuable new amenity at RSPB Mersehead Nature Reserve – an interactive whiteboard called a SMART Board. Located within the public space of Mersehead’s new Sulwath Centre, the whiteboard will prove an effective tool for engaging with a wide range of users – including community, visitor, adult learning and field teaching groups – about the natural world and wildlife that can be experienced in the region. It will be able to display conservation and research data, deliver interactive presentations and show high quality images that can add context to the experiences people have had outdoors on the reserve. Importantly, the whiteboard will create a unique opportunity to link up with SMART Boards on other nature reserves, helping to develop close links and best practice in visitor experience, field teaching projects and reserve events.
