Sofrydd Play Area

Upgrading a grassed area to form a soccer pitch. The present grassed area is the only large green space available in the area for play. However, the area is on a gradient and has poor drainage. The area would provide a valuable asset to the local schools outdoor activity and incorporating at weekends with the community use in providing junior football facilities, which is suffering due to insufficient playing fields within the area. The area of land is situated to the north of the local Primary school and is owned by the local Council.
The School in partnership with the local council are working together in order to maximise the potential of this area of land for both school and community. The site will be available to the general public on a free and unrestrictive basis.
PROPORTIONAL REGISTRATION – LCF TO FUND A MAXIMUM OF 66% OF TOTAL PROJECT EXPENDITURE £16,500.
