Sojers Bridge

Sojers Bridge is a footpath giving access to a popular local walking area for the town of Sanquhar. Ownership of the bridge is not identified and there is no body responsible for maintenance, although occasional maintenance has been carried out by the Town Council and Community Council because of the importance of the route as an access to Holm Wood. The bridge is now over 40 years old. It has been deemed unsafe and is closed. The project is to purchase a kit footbridge and have it installed
