Solar Panels & Roof Repairs to Hartlepower Community Hub

The aims of the project are to repair the roof to this popular community building in the high disadvantaged town of Hartlepool. The community hub offers activities, classes, workshops, play and many other free classes to local people and the public in surrounding areas of all ages.
Installing solar panels will allow the cafe and hub to become self sustainable and open longer hours for evening activities and training, due to decreased energy costs.
Allowing hot water and heating to be on for evenings and winter days and a repaired and restored roof, will ensure the hub is a warm, safe, social space for people of all ages.
