Solar Panels & Storage Batteries

Installation of solar panels on the roof of the building and a battery storage unit to reduce energy costs. The group wish to ensure they are as economically and environmentally friendly as possible. The cost savings will support their future and their attendees. Many users are on low income and would struggle for example to pay more than £2.50 per child entry for Tots & Adults play. A night rate electricity option is used for the washing machine, dryer and dish washer, however, lighting and other electrical equipment is required during the day. The use of solar power will support the high cost of running the centre.
