Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum – Enhancement to Research and Education Facilities

SofO has secured funding to build a new home for the museum collection and research centre, however it has not secured funding to create a museum, ie the displays and other facilities normally seen at modern museums, enabling the collection to be fully accessible and fulfil the modern aims and objectives of such institutions.
VC is requested funding for –
*an improved Research facility with appropiate storage for the archive by purchasing a racking storage unit for the Museum’s collection,
*fit out of the community/education room, including furniture, props, storage and other resources such as an art cart
* The enhancement of the outdoor spaces for visiting children, schools parties and other groups.
