Somerford Youth and Community Centre, Christchurch – Community space creation (007373)

The aim of the project is to renovate the run-down garage in the car park of Somerford Youth and Community Centre to create a useable community space. This space will be used to deliver services and activities, which will be either low cost or free, and will help local people develop skills that they can use to gain employment or to improve their mental health and self-esteem. This will help build resilience in the community and encourage them to help themselves.
