South Essex Heath Fritillaries

Populations of the threatened Heath Fritillary butterfly will be restored across the South Essex Woodlands landscape through breeding habitat enhancement and creation. Listed on the UK and Essex Biodiversity Action Plan, the species has declined 79% between 2005 and 2014.
