South Moreton Recreation Ground Environmental Improvements

The project seeks to improve the South Moreton Recreation Ground to provide improved access and facilities for the local community and enhance the biodiversity of the area. This will be done through the following:
• Creation of a permanent path around the perimeter of South Moreton Recreation Ground to both enhance access around the village but also to support leisure and health activities for local residents
• Planting of native trees and wildflowers along the path and in other areas around the Recreation Ground to improve wildlife habitats, including as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy
• Provide additional seating (i.e. benches) around the Recreation Ground
