South Norwood Lakes, Croydon – Play Area Refurbishment (5006)

The project will refurbish a popular, but nearly derelict, play area. After 20 years of use, much of the equipment has either had to be removed or has a very short life span left. The play surfacing is worn, unsafe and past repair.

A new modern design based on the results of community consultation and the natural shape of the land, has been approved and costed to include a range of play equipment suitable for all age groups.
