South Park, Fulham - MUGA Improvements (2881/D)

The dilapidated existing all weather pitch in South Park is to be completely refurbished. The proposal is to provide for multiple sports use such as mini tennis (x3) and Five Aside Football (x2) with a primary focus for 4 netball courts. There will be dividing nets, to make the area more multifunctional and improve the free drainage surface to extend hours of usability. The project will comprise ground preparation works and will be undertaken to include remodelling of ground, permeable drainage base layer, root barriers and macadam playing surface over an area of 52m long and 47m wide. The area will have new external perimeter fencing 5.00m high, internal fencing 1.2m high fence, new floodlighting system to replace existing, supply and installation of nets for tennis, portable goals for netball and football, seating, hard and soft landscaping to improve access and security. The Trust grant will contribute towards the MUGA base and fencing.
