South Shields CC Ground Improvement

Due to the age of our grounds equipment the club is really struggling to maintain the ground to the standard required, and unable to carry out basic tasks needed, e.g. volunteers have had to cut the outfield with a hand mower as the tractor was awaiting repair. New equipment would allow our hardworking volunteers to restore the playing surface to the standard it needs to the benefit of all and add extra junior wickets, an Under-11 wicket on the square and two new junior practice wickets.
The funds would be used to purchase the following;
1) Iseki TLE4490 47hp 4wd Rops Compact
2) Wessex CRX-240 rear mounted rotary mower
3) Charterhouse Multisport combination slitter, rake, roller and brush

The club desperately needs to replace the current ancient grass cutting equipment, along with other ground equipment to allow the volunteer ground to staff to restore the playing surface to the highest possible standard.
