South Street Playing Fields, Ellistown - MUGA (40401/D)

The project aims to build a Multi-Use Games Area on the South Street Playing Fields, a green area of Ellistown will be a site for informal sport for both sexes and it will provide a safe space for young people to gather, which is away from houses. It will provide an area for young people to socialise and build positive relationships. The Parish Council intends to work with partners (e.g. North West Leicestershire Sports Leaders) to bring in sports champions at holiday times to provide some structured competitions for young people. There are currently no facilities for older children and young people in Ellistown. The Trust grant will contribute towards the MUGA.
