Southern General Paths & Shelters

The hospital is presently undergoing major redevelopment works and as part of that it has been decided that the grounds should be open to the public/surrounding communities as recreational resource. To this end play areas, shelters, seating and foot/cycle paths, linking up with the existing network outwith the hospital grounds will be created. The intention of this project is to enhance these public features making them attractive as a destination in their own right and for people transiting the site on the new paths.
