Southey Park Hardstanding, The Friends of Southey Park, Bristol/South Glos Council

This project aims to convert a disused former motorcycle training area into a children’s play area and safe cycle practice area. The current surface has become very broken up by weed growth and the surface is in such a poor state that it cannot currently be adopted by the local authority as a play area. If the surface can be brought back to a safe standard, it would then be regularly swept to make it safe for children to use.
