Southwick Square Gardens, Nr Brighton - Improvements (1955/D)

The project aims to open up the area so that shoppers, visitors to the area and local residents to Southwick Square will enter as they walk to and from the shops, a place for picnic/lunches, and a relaxing and pleasing area to enjoy a break, either on your own or as a family. The project will create a new entrance and pathway and comprise pruning back of trees, bulb and grass re-seeding and new flower beds. The Trust grant will contribute towards the improvements to the gardens.
