Speke Training and Education Centre, Liverpool – Community Garden Creation (007583)

STEC operates a community anchor hub hosting 20 other charities providing access for all and environmental sustainability features. This project will transform the adjacent waste space into a sensory garden for wellbeing and it will commemorate STEC’s Chair Frances Hunt and other community servants. The garden will be available to the on-site charities and local partners, providing also for the military veterans’ groups (e.g PTSD recovery), GP Centres (Social Prescribing opportunities), charities supporting adults with additional needs and mental illness with a facility for horticultural learning and recovery.
