Spinnaker Community Garden, Isle of Dogs – Creation of the garden

The Spinnaker housing block is next to a large area of land which is seldomly used. It is completely open to the public and so accessible by tenants in adjacent housing blocks.
Applicant spoke to 89 tenants in Spinnaker House, and the surrounding housing blocks, to seek their views on the proposed garden.78 people or 88% wanted the garden and 12 or 14% said they may volunteer to go onto the Garden Committee.
