Spital Estate Community Association

The group was established in 1995 on the Spital Estate in Newbiggin by the Sea to provide social and learning experiences for people in the local community. Activities include a toddler group, bowls club, luncheon lcub, and basic training services for local people. The association is based at the Elizabethan Hall located in the centre of the local community and between 100-150 people use the centre each week. It is run by 5 trustees and 25 volunteers.

The association has recently created a community garden for general public use.
