Sport and Recreation for All

The aim of this project is to enhance the availability, accessibility and opportunity for young people and adults to participate in sporting, recreational and leisure opportunities provided by Lurgan Town FC.

The current Club changing facilities are outside of the Club’s perimeter, difficult to access, expensive to use and are completely inadequate for current and potential Club users. The Club needs to develop changing facilities on-site that are easily accessible, suitable for the needs of its large and continually expanding user base, able to maximise the community beneficiaries, and furthermore, provide a separate area for female changing. Therefore, the main element of this project is the erection of pre-fabricated changing rooms on-site at the Club’s facility.

The second element of this project involves maintenance work on the Club’s all weather pitch to include the replacement of drainage and refurbishment of the current surface.
