Sports Pavilion Refurbishment, Baggrow and Blennerhasset

The aim of the project is to modernise the sports pavilion situated on the village sport and playing field. This is a well used local facility that lacks facilities. It presently has one toilet and no shower facilities. The project aims to have an extension built to house a disabled toilet, a dedicated ladies toilet, female changing room and two self contained toilets and a shower / drying area. Disabled access to the pavilion will also be improved. Local users and villagers support the upgrading of the facilities and envisage greater use of the community facility once upgraded. The disabled access and toilet facility is essential so as to not exclude any member of the community.
